About Us Califormulations LLC is a service provider to the food, beverage (non-alcoholic and alcoholic), and ingredient industry. We specialize in new product incubation, product creation, pilot, and small scale manufacturing. Position Summary:

• Responsible for keeping equipment i.e. utilities, pumps, filling, and packaging equipment throughout the plant in working order.
• Trouble shoots and repairs any electrical or mechanical problem
• Works with team to assess downtime issues and generate corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement process
• Performs preventative maintenance
• Weld any item that needs welding
• Must be able to weld stainless steel sanitary (within the first 6 months)
• Must be able to read and understand any manual on machinery and ask questions if in doubt.
• Must be able to understand the use of each chemical used at Califormulations LLC for production, ingredient and cleaning. This includes how to properly mix chemicals and what chemicals not to use together, plus the proper handling procedures and protective gear that must be worn during the use of the chemicals.
• Must be able to work with very little supervision.
• Must be able to rebuild machinery as needed.
• Strictly follows all safety procedures, LOTO, and uses all required personal protective equipment.
• Assure that other associates and contractors are following Califormulations LLC safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have industrial maintenance experience.
• Food and beverage manufacturing experience a plus
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, HVAC, boiler and pumps.
• Ability to comprehend manuals, blue prints, and schematics.
• Stainless steel welding experience is a plus.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Good initiative.
• A positive attitude.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Is supportive of company objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Is willing to work nights and weekends as necessary.

Working Conditions:

• Plant and warehouse environment.
• Some lifting/maneuvering of heavy materials will be required
