This position is responsible for managing the ColumbusJunior Golf Association and other junior programs at Bull Creek, Oxbow Creek, and Godwin Creek. This position will also perform some operational/managementduties at city golf facilities.

• Manage and supervise Pro Shop staff
• Operate POS/check-in at peak business time
• Assist in event planning and operations
• Maximize revenue through the best use of golfcourses
• Promote entire facility business - Grill, beveragecart, Pro Shop
• Communicate information to staff or manager
• Manage cash handling procedures
• Teach junior golf clinics
• Run junior golf programs
• Manage those assisting with junior programs
• Promote junior golf throughout the community
• Other related duties as assigned

Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in the occupational field, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.

Work is typically performed while intermittently sitting or standing. The employee occasionally lifts medium to heavy-weight objects. The work is typically performed inside the Clubhouse, although occasional work outside will be required.
