Description

St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Manager to work in our Bradley Center Gero Psych Unit. This Nurse Manager will be responsible for assessing, planning, managing and evaluating the delivery of nursing care within a clinical psychiatric facility, and the supervision and management of all nursing personnel in the unit. Will supervise and ensure the nursing and clinical care services are provided to patients in accordance with hospital and accreditation standards of care for an acute inpatient psychiatric program. Responsible for the provision of a safe and therapeutic environment for patient populations.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Required.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)-Preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Licenses:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Georgia or Compact/Multi State RN License.
