Description
Amazon is seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager III to join our Energy & Water Infrastructure team. In this role, you will manage complex, cross-functional programs across multiple infrastructure verticals, driving operational excellence, business planning, and program execution at a regional level.
You will serve as a critical connector across diverse infrastructure program areas — coordinating strategy alignment, ensuring delivery of key business goals, and creating mechanisms that drive visibility and accountability. You will own the business operations rhythm for the regional team, including goal tracking, metric development, business reviews, and planning cycles. This role requires strong business acumen, analytical depth, and the ability to operate in ambiguous environments where processes may not yet exist.
As a TIPM III, you will work within a VP-level organization, influencing technology and business decisions related to infrastructure programs. You will partner with finance, planning, and cross-functional business operations teams to ensure demand signals, financial outlooks, and organizational priorities are captured and acted upon.
Key job responsibilities
· Program Management & Coordination: Manage the lifecycle of complex, cross-functional infrastructure programs spanning multiple verticals and geographies. Coordinate across diverse infrastructure program teams to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and deliverables.
· Business Operations & Mechanisms: Own and drive the regional business operations cadence — including weekly operational reviews, monthly/quarterly business reviews, and annual planning processes. Create, refine, and maintain mechanisms that ensure organizational goals are tracked, reported, and met.
· Metrics & Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and maintain program-level metrics and reporting frameworks. Identify gaps in data visibility and create new metrics and business processes to drive informed decision-making. Leverage data analysis and business intelligence to provide actionable insights to leadership.
· Strategic Planning: Lead end-to-end annual operating plan (OP) processes, including headcount planning, resource allocation, and organizational roster management. Partner with finance and planning teams to capture changes in demand signals and financial outlook, to drive critical business decisions.
· Process Improvement: Streamline, create, or eliminate processes to improve organizational efficiency. Adopt and adapt best-in-class business operations mechanisms from partner teams to ensure consistency and scalability. Leveraging on AI tools to optimize and redesign workflows.
· Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leaders (Sr. Managers, Directors) across the organization. Drive alignment across infrastructure verticals and partner with cross-functional teams (finance, planning, business operations) to ensure cohesive execution.
· Communication: Deliver clear, concise, and timely communications — including narratives, status reports, business review documents, and planning artifacts — to senior leadership audiences.
