Responsibilities and Duties

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of, or the ability to learn, all department and state health standards related to safe food handling and maintaining a sanitary environment.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items offered, including allergen information, preparation methods, and proper serving presentation.
  • Perform well in fast-paced, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Adapt to changing work environments, including exposure to hot and cold temperature fluctuations.
  • Assist in keeping kitchen stock well organized, rotated, labeled and protected
  • Able to effectively read and comprehend menus and order screens
  • Able to effectively communicate with front of house, leadership and guests as needed.
  • Provide exceptional service to all guests by being welcoming, approachable, respectful, and attentive to their needs and requests.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and interact with fellow hosts in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner at all times.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and efficient working conditions in all assigned areas.
  • Effectively follow direction and/or work independently to complete assigned checklists and daily procedures.
  • Comply with Callaway standards, policies, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
  • Ability to demonstrate basic reading, comprehension, and math skills.
  • Ability to work closely with others; open and effective communication is essential.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Previous kitchen experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
