Position: Federal Work Study Student – Science Support Lab Assistant

Location: General Education/Science Department

Nature of Duties:

Under general supervision, student will assist with general tasks associated with the laboratory for Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, Biology and Microbiology as needed. Those tasks may include, but are not limited to setting up and taking down models, washing glassware, setting up and taking down chemistry labs, cleaning lab areas and assisting instructors as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Be enrolled as a student at Columbus Technical College
  • Completed a FAFSA and be identified as being eligible for federal aid
  • Complete a Federal Work-Study Employment Application.

Salary/Benefits: $11.00 per hour; no benefits
