Perform lab tests, maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, cGMP-compliant operations.Laboratory Technicians must be able to work independently, follow established protocols, solve problems, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Performs laboratory tests in compliance with equipment specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).- Follow Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) documentation guidelines to record all procedures accurately.- Maintain a safe working environment; ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained.- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues; report as required.- Follow preventive maintenance procedures; maintain supply inventory.- Work with other technicians to complete laboratory tasks within timelines.- Develop or enhance laboratory procedures for better quality and productivity.- Follow proper waste disposal and recycling procedures.- Train new laboratory personnel on SOPs and equipment usage.Skills / Requirements:- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related science.- Prior laboratory experience required.- Basic computer and spreadsheet skills required.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.- Excellent organizational and analytical ability.- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, walk, kneel, and climb stairs as needed.- Flexible schedule, including weekends when required.- Knowledge of microbiological and aseptic techniques preferred.
