Perform lab tests, maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, cGMP-compliant operations. Job Description Summary: Laboratory Technicians must be able to work independently, follow established protocols, solve problems, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs laboratory tests in compliance with equipment specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follow Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) documentation guidelines to record all procedures accurately. Maintain a safe working environment; ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained. Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues; report as required. Follow preventive maintenance procedures; maintain supply inventory. Work with other technicians to complete laboratory tasks within timelines. Develop or enhance laboratory procedures for better quality and productivity. Follow proper waste disposal and recycling procedures. Train new laboratory personnel on SOPs and equipment usage. Skills / Requirements: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related science. Prior laboratory experience required. Basic computer and spreadsheet skills required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent organizational and analytical ability. Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, walk, kneel, and climb stairs as needed. Flexible schedule, including weekends when required. Knowledge of microbiological and aseptic techniques preferred.
