Goldens’ Foundry & Machine Company is currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist. As the welcoming face of our company, you play a crucial role in shaping our visitors' first impressions and supporting our staff with seamless administrative functions. Our receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization and this position is critical to daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, ensuring a positive and lasting first impression.
  • Direct visitors efficiently to the appropriate person and office, enhancing the visitor experience.
  • Handle incoming calls with professionalism, including screening, forwarding, and taking messages as required.
  • Maintain the reception area’s neatness and readiness, ensuring all necessary supplies (e.g., pens, forms, brochures) are well-stocked.
  • Provide accurate, concise information to in-person and phone/email inquiries, embodying our customer service standards.
  • Manage the reception of daily mail/deliveries, ensuring timely sorting and distribution.
  • Uphold office security protocols, including managing the visitor logbook and issuing badges.
  • Order and maintain inventory for front office supplies, ensuring no shortages.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and support planning and logistics for company events.
  • Execute additional clerical and receptionist duties, such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing, to support office operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or front office role, demonstrating a track record of administrative excellence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
  • Experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers) and comfortability with troubleshooting minor technical issues.
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor, both in appearance and attitude, in all interactions.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of clear and effective exchanges in writing and verbal.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can identify and address issues before they escalate.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with an aptitude for multitasking and prioritizing daily tasks
  • A genuine customer service orientation, treating all visitors and colleagues with respect and courtesy.
  • High school degree: additional certification in Office Management is a plus

Pre-Employment Drug Screening required.

Additionally, safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes wearing PPE such as hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection, flame retardant clothing, and steel toe work boots.
