GoodwillSR AmeriCorps members will assist with recruitment and outreach to our target audience to increase client engagement in Mission Services offerings, with the goal of helping individuals achieve gainful employment. AmeriCorps members may use several methods to reach clients: outreach calls, texts, social media, and other channels. AmeriCorps members will log all data into the assigned case management system. AmeriCorps members will recruit volunteers for GoodwillSR programs such as the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance Program. AmeriCorps members will participate in multiple training programs to gain skills and knowledge.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday (8:30 – 5:00) with Holidays and time off allowed, must complete 1700 hours in 11 months

Service Description:
AmeriCorps members will help increase community awareness of the programs that GoodwillSR offers and support Mission services activities, Monday through Friday, 4o hours a week. The members will implement several outreach service methods, including phone calls, emails, text messaging, social media campaigns, geo-marketing/geo-tracking, and special events. Outreach includes, but is not limited to, re-engaging clients who have not visited the center for 31 days or more; inviting clients to job fairs and special events; and informing clients about services such as classes, free tax prep, Veterans Services, certification training, etc. Outreach to our rural population uses the methods mentioned above to promote virtual services and opportunities offered by GoodwillSR.
