Shift: PRN

Position Goal:

The position performs day-to-day functions of retail sales in the Sarah’s Gift Shop at JHMH. These functions include, but are not limited to, opening and closing, sales, merchandise evaluation, stocking, pricing and display.Â

Position Responsibilities:

• Facilitates and encourages merchandise sales, ringing up merchandise and correctly identifying the amount of sale, merchandise sold and appropriate discounts.
• Stocks, restocks and prices new and existing merchandise as instructed and on a timely basis.
• Insures merchandise is clearly and attractively displayed and shop is clean, orderly and inviting.
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to opening and closing shop according to established schedules and predetermined protocols.

Experience: One year experience working in a retail store preferred.

Education:Â High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Special Qualifications:Â Ability to work with numbers required. High sensitivity to good customer relations.
