The Job You Will Perform:
- Must become capable of safely working and handling tooling dies and plates.
- Must order tooling when needed.
- Tooling Management: Receive and check incoming tooling plates and dies.
- Tooling Rotation Program: Repair tooling: dies, plates when possible or send out for repairs.
- Must order supplies for die room.
- Ensure die rotation for repairs is done.
- Inventory Management: Order ink, control partial ink inventory, conduct monthly ink inventory, and properly dispose of empty ink buckets.
- Inspect and file print plates, file print cards and construction cards.
- Occasionally run the pre-feeder on machines of various machine centers.
- Participating in crew meetings, reducing waste, actively participating in team problem solving processes, and maintaining quality standards.
- Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.
