The Job You Will Perform:

  • Must become capable of safely working and handling tooling dies and plates.
  • Must order tooling when needed.
  • Tooling Management: Receive and check incoming tooling plates and dies.
  • Tooling Rotation Program: Repair tooling: dies, plates when possible or send out for repairs.
  • Must order supplies for die room.
  • Ensure die rotation for repairs is done.
  • Inventory Management: Order ink, control partial ink inventory, conduct monthly ink inventory, and properly dispose of empty ink buckets.
  • Inspect and file print plates, file print cards and construction cards.
  • Occasionally run the pre-feeder on machines of various machine centers.
  • Participating in crew meetings, reducing waste, actively participating in team problem solving processes, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.
