General Summary
Maintaining and monitoring all non-Bill of Material bulk materials as required, including ordering, purchase requisition goods receipt and projected product loss. Support in the management of the consumable room and production support projects. Also, identifying required data, data acquisition plans, and test parameters for tools and equipment, recording and interpreting test data, conferring with engineering personnel regarding details and implications of test procedure and results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Track and monitor inventory control for General Assembly bulk materials.
- Monitor consumables store for min/max levels, data management and normal daily operations.
- Assist in coordinating with vendors on consumable room stock levels to ensure on hand inventory levels remain consistent.
- Support daily production needs through distribution of consumable stock items while maintaining sufficient tracking on inventory.
- Provide tool room inventory management system support.
- Compiling tracking documentation and scanning in the data base for record retention purposes.
- Support projects involving bulk materials and tooling.
- Provide guidance for daily system entries into SAP, Autoway, and VAATZ.
- Enter data into SAP for material modifications, including goods received, back log analysis, inventory corrections, Purchase Requisition creations, etc.
- Assist with payment processing for expenses, projects, and investment orders.
- Assist General Accounting with fixed asset tracking, end of month inventory, and budget monitoring.

Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field along with zero (0) to Two (2) years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within the automotive industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication, planning, organizational and time management skills.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Experience with SAP system preferred.
- Problem solving skills.
