| LOCATION: | Muscogee County Public Education Center (MCPEC) | REPORTS TO: | Pre-K Director |
Primary Function: The job of Clerk, Early Success Center is done for the purpose/s of assisting with the collection and data entry of student information; with the maintenance of student records and information as is required for compliance with the Georgia Pre-K program and Muscogee County School District requirements.

| 1. Educational Level: | High School Diploma/GED |
| 2. Experience: | Minimum one year of experience or equivalent technical/business certificate; Additional testing for selected candidates may be required. |
| 3. Physical Activities: | Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities |
| 4. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: | Written and oral communication; typing; communication; computer |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
| 1. | Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. |
| 2. | Assists with the recruitment, registration, and processing of all incoming Pre-K students—online registration and uploading required documents. |
| 3. | Assists with the ordering of supplies and equipment for the Pre-K classrooms to meet state guidelines. |
| 4. | Assists in the processing of documents, forms, mailings and materials (e.g. attendance, enrollment, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties. |
| 5. | Assists with the organization of student intake records and cumulative files for the purpose of conveying information regarding submission deadlines for required student documents. |
| 6. | Assists with the collection, review and verification of documents required for Pre-K program registration and enrollment such as immunization forms for the purpose of providing assistance with the administrative functions. |
| 7. | Enters student data into prescribed spreadsheet format and submits to designated contact for upload to PANDA system and performs updates as required (e.g. student attendance, etc.) for the purpose of managing student information and ensuring compliance with the Georgia Pre-K program. |
| 8. | Maintains confidentiality of records to include securing the records file and confidentiality or personally identifiable information for all parties for the purpose of legal compliance. |
| 9. | Maintains accurate and current student information for the purpose of ensuring appropriate documentation is available for all required reports including student statistics. |
| 10. | Participates in and make travel arrangements for annual in-service trainings according to the requirements of the Georgia Pre-K program. |
| 11. | Prepares written materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters, work orders, etc.) for the purpose of conveying information regarding school and/or district activities and procedures. |
| 12. | Refers students, school staff, parents and others as appropriate for the purpose of obtaining more information and/or training, services, etc. |
| 13. | Serves as Early Success Center receptionist for the purpose of handling inquiries and requests related to the Pre-K program. |
| 14. | Supports assigned administrative personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with administrative functions. |
| 15. | Uses effective, positive interpersonal communication skills for the purpose of providing information to school staff and external parties and delivering exceptional customer service. |
| 16. | Performs other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Georgia Pre-K program. |
