Columbus Cardiology Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing cardiology team. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, physician-supported outpatient environment with a manageable patient volume, predictable schedule, and exceptional work-life balance.

Unlike many hospital-based cardiology positions, this role features no evening clinic hours, no night call, and a limited weekend call rotation that is compensated separately from base salary.

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide outpatient cardiovascular care while working closely with our physicians and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and counseling
  • Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with physicians regarding patient care plans

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current NP or PA license in Georgia
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Cardiology experience preferred, but motivated candidates with relevant clinical experience are encouraged to apply
