Job Description

NetImpact Strategies has an opportunity for a Program Director to join our talented Professional Services team. This opportunity will support agile software development services for a government federal-civilian customer. Responsibilities include overseeing and managing a geo-graphically dispersed, multi-disciplined technical team. The successful candidate will have prior experience providing technical support and managing similar tasks, developing schedules for program or project activities, and providing recommendations or alternative solutions to manage program, project, and technical risks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall management and oversight to a multi-disciplined team to deliver software development services and support.
  • Assist in overseeing and documenting the initiation, execution, and closing activities for a program.
  • Prepare and oversee work plans, schedules, planning materials.
  • Establish, document, and manage program baselines (e.g. budget, cost, schedule, requirements, and technical).
  • Ensure scope, cost, schedule milestones, and performance metrics are met or exceeded.
  • Assess, monitor, mitigate, and resolve program and project level risks and issues.
  • Develop and maintain program artifacts throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
  • Develop, disseminate, and present supporting program/project documentation (i.e., status reports, presentations, planning documents, etc.).
  • Ensure all contract deliverables are provided to the customer and approved per the requirements of the contract.
  • Meet with and routinely communicate with Government Leadership and the COR to discuss contract status.
  • Guide employee goal development and performance reviews.
  • Promote and encourage a “one team” attitude at all levels internally and externally.

Qualifications

Required

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, computer science and/or information systems, or other related discipline with a minimum of ten (10) years management experience.
  • Experience leading multiple Agile software development scrum teams
  • Demonstrated consistent ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver technical solutions while mitigating or removing hurdles/obstacles.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, conflict/resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient using MS Office.
  • Working understanding of .Net Tech Stack, ESRI, and MS Power Apps
  • Working understanding of Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
  • Working understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS based systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship and Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Preferred

  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
  • PMI PMP, PMI ACP, AWS, SAFe, DevSecOps certifications a plus.
