Clinical Educator (RN), Operating Room, Midtown

Description:

JOB PURPOSE:
Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff. Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise. Provides clinical care as needed
when staffing and/or case load demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Nursing.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of Operating Room nursing experience.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certification required.
Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) preferred.
Demonstrated clinical competency.
