The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Applications Team:
The Director of Talent Management Technology will set a strategic vision and lead the execution of technology solutions that enable and optimize talent management across the enterprise. This role is accountable for driving innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering solutions that enhance the candidate and employee experience. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with deep expertise in HR technology, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence and align strategies across a complex organization.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and own the enterprise-wide strategy for Talent Management Technology, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and HR transformation goals.
- Develop multi-year roadmaps for technology investments, balancing innovation with scalability and compliance.
- Serve as a thought leader on emerging trends, including AI and digital tools, to shape the future of talent technology.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior HR leaders, Enterprise Services, Business Unit digital teams, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into technology solutions and influencing decision-making at the executive level.
- Facilitate governance forums and ensure transparency in prioritization, investment decisions, and delivery outcomes.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the full lifecycle of the Talent Technology portfolio, including strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards and deliver a seamless experience for candidates, employees, and HR teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes and enhance user experience across the talent ecosystem.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of product owners and technical experts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Establish staffing strategies, succession plans, and talent development programs to build organizational capability.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to ensure team members grow in both technical and leadership competencies.
Innovation & Future Readiness
- Research and present business cases for new technologies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and ROI expectations.
- Partner with Digital Technology leadership to integrate AI and advanced analytics into talent solutions, driving predictive insights and automation.
- Champion change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new tools and processes across the enterprise.
Executive Communication
- Regularly brief senior leadership on portfolio performance, strategic initiatives, and emerging opportunities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language to enable informed decision-making.
Travel:
- Travel up to 30% for meetings and team collaboration.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience
- Proven experience in Talent Technology landscape, HR technology application management, or a related field, with a track record of successful project delivery and application governance.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience analyzing complex problems and developing innovative solutions.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Workday Experience in Talent Technology delivery strongly preferred

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
