The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

RTX has an opening for an Individual contributor, Principal Specialist, .NET Developer (Principal Specialist, Business Systems & Transformation) remote position.

What YOU will do:

  • Conduct requirements gathering, analysis, design, and development of data integrations and applications using HTML, JavaScript, Oracle PL/SQL, and .NET technologies.
  • Facilitate and provide technical expertise during integration and application development workshops, collaborating with conversion leads, IT leads, and local business unit resources to ensure comprehensive solution design.
  • Enhance IT processes and solution design approaches to meet business requirements and project deadlines efficiently.
  • Build deep expertise in Oracle, PL/SQL, .NET, application development, Integration Hub, and ADP integrations within the RTX environment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technical approaches and overall project methodology, enabling agile development, faster delivery timelines, and more robust integrations.
  • Support Workday/ADP integration requirements globally, coordinating with HR, Payroll, and Digital leadership teams to address resource and system constraints while meeting project goals.
  • Strengthening collaboration with HR Digital, HR, and Payroll teams to ensure smooth integration delivery, support, and ongoing improvements.
  • Propose and implement innovative technology solutions to optimize the overall system architecture and landscape.
  • Foster continuous learning by developing functional, technical, and integration expertise for yourself and your team through formal training and hands-on experience.
  • Partner with ADP, Workday, and other external vendors to maximize the value of existing investments and advocate for RTX’s needs in their product roadmaps.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a .NET developer with Oracle/SQL Server development and a bachelor’s degree on Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience - Requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Proficient in .NET (Core, VB, C#), Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, AngularJS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and system integration with Workday and ADP. Strong background in ADO.NET, SAML 2.0, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Web Services, and IIS (6.0–12.0).

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • SQL Server Administration
  • Experience with Visual Studio, TFS, GIT HUB, SSMS, TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer, SSIS, SSRS, Bootstrap, and jQuery and in designing and implementing complex .NET applications leveraging SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL objects such as functions, procedures, packages, triggers, views, and sequences.
  • Expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing .NET and SQL Server / Oracle PL/SQL code for high performance and stability. Experienced in data mapping, conversion, and transformation to support integrations with third-party vendor systems.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to review and validate test plans, ensuring quality deliverables, and contributed to large-scale project implementations delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
