What You Will Do:
The PWEL Lease Engine Return Logistics Manager is an essential member of the PWEL organization whose primary responsibility is to manage the logistics of PWEL lease engines that are returning from the customer and third-party lease engines that are in the process of returning to the engine owner. This individual will also manage the lease extension process. He will also be familiar with all tariff and tax implications for all lease engine contracts.
The position will require the applicant to work with a broad range of departments across IAE/PW and external customers to accomplish the job functions. This role is a unique blend of customer relationships and commercial disciplines. The PWEL Lease Administrator will be responsible for:
Coordinating lease engine returns from customers
Completing associated tasks in MS Dynamics
Coordinating all lease extensions with field teams
Understand tariff implication for PWEL engines
PWEL focal for any tax issues for PWEL engines
Collect, sort, store, track and upload all the above-mentioned documentation into the appropriate database
What You Will Learn:
Candidate will learn the PWEL engine leasing agreement language
Candidate will learn the PWEL engine leasing process
Candidate will gain knowledge of the Pratt & Whitney Logistics process
Understand what Incoterms are and when they are applicable
Candidate will be familiar with Global trade requirements
Candidate will be familiar with U.S./Foreign tax laws in regard to PW engines
Candidate will understand Tariff implications to PW engines
Candidate will develop relationships across the PW customer business and with the customer
Candidate will become subject matter expert on MS Dynamics and other associated programs
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience supporting global trade requirements, import/export requirements, familiarity with tariffs, tax requirement and implications related to material/equipment leasing.
5 years of experience in logistics
Prior experience using MS Excel, Power Point and Word
Qualifications We Prefer:
Master’s degree
Previous industry experience
5+ years of experience in logistics
Strong communication skills: must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative situations and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills
Able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption
Ability to prioritize tasks when clarity of direction may be lacking
When necessary, the ability to understand and communicate within a technical or specialized subject matter, particularly as it pertains to aviation and the aviation industry
Capable of performing in a daily fast paced environment while simultaneously meeting assigned project deadlines with self-directed decision-making confidence
Past involvement in creation of standard work for key processes
Experiencing delivering presentations and communicating in writing to senior leadership.
Prior experience in MS Dynamics

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
