Columbus Forge, a recognized leader in producing disks and airfoils for the aerospace propulsion market, is looking for an onsite EH&S Training Coordinator (Hourly) to support our organization. What You Will Do:

  • Offers support for Environment Safety & Health (EHS) professionals.
  • Includes specific technical skills to support environmental, health and safety programs,
  • policies, and leaders.
  • With direction from others, and utilized existing software, will author, edit, publish, and
  • manage training courses.
  • Performs clerical tasks to increase the efficiency of the EH&S department and leaders.
  • Monitors EH&S department systems and offices for day-to-day operational issues.
  • Performs data entry and other normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining
  • files, interviewing callers, and making proper referrals, arranging appointments, referring, or
  • answering mail.
  • Works independently on special assignments, processes and handles confidential
  • documents and other administrative duties.
  • Answer telephones, take messages, follow up as appropriate.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1 or more years of related experience, to include training scheduling and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Microsoft Office work experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • 2 or more years of related experience, to include training scheduling and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact within the team and an ability to work with other stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, with strong written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Articulate training software, or similar publishing software.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS’s) such as Workday or SAP TEM.
  • Able to make copies, scan to email, file those scans and paperwork appropriately (electronically and in paper files).

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
