Our OSCQ (Operations, Supply Chain and Quality) team offers an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic growth oriented environment responsible for managing (on site) one of our major supplier portfolios in Switzerland. You will have full accountability for directing assigned subcontractors on one or multiple subcontracts and / or programs. In addition, this position will serve as primary OSCQ representative for the program(s).

The International Supplier Performance Manager role is a dynamic and results-oriented position focused on international supplier development, strategic decision-making, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a pivotal team member within the Global Strategy and Supplier Development (GSSD) organization, you will take the lead in developing and managing suppliers Switzerland subject to business needs.

This is a high-visibility position that will be deployed to the Bern canton in Switzerland as a member of an established Supplier Integrated Product Team (SIPT), requires strong leadership skills, strategic vision, and the ability to act as a liaison between various functions, programs, and regional teams to ensure alignment on supplier development and execution. Your contributions will play a crucial role in achieving RTX's global supplier performance and development goals.

This is a 1.5 year international assignment located in Bern, Switzerland with additional compensation emoluments.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the overall management and reporting of suppliers performance to support the program prime contract technical, financial, and performance requirements and Raytheon business objectives.
  • Responsible for overall Subcontractor Performance to include Cost, Schedule, Technical, Quality and Delivery of all Line Items within the Purchase Order
  • Provides program/IPTs clear line of sight to the ongoing performance of the Subcontractor in coordination with the SIPT
  • Primary contact to the Subcontractor’s Program Manager and Leadership. Own the relationship with the subcontractor.
  • Responsible for the Subcontractor management process including performance, SC metrics, international issues, and ensure customer flow through requirements are adequately performed.
  • Works in partnership with the SCM (Subcontract Manager) to document discussions, interpretations, agreements
  • Establishes a positive team culture and ensures the team is meeting all commitments to stakeholders
  • Responsible for risk and opportunity management for Subcontract Partners
  • Leads supplier SOW coordination and reviews to assure program objectives are met and subcontract performance requirements and exit criteria are clearly defined.
  • Supports the MPM in creating, monitoring and communicating Material Forecasts (AOP) and funding needs to Program for the Subcontract effort
  • Leads the change control process and communicates changes impacting the subcontractor with the SCM negotiating and formally documenting the changes
  • Lead on site sourcing activities to develop suppliers to be “Raytheon Ready” in support of both Direct and Indirect projects meeting Localization obligations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the PMO and Supplier IPT to accomplish Customer and program requirements as well as coordination with the Supplier Management team.
  • Work with the team, perform a Supplier Gap Analysis and lead the successful closure of all items identified.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Experience successfully leading and managing with limited oversight, cross-functional teams at Supplier Site (International preferred, Domestic considered) and leading collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers.
  • Experience utilizing Master phasing schedules and Integrated Master Schedules and experience with Export/Import requirements and licensing.
  • U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience collaborating with non-US customers or suppliers, with a demonstrated understanding of cultural nuances and differences
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams
  • PM, MPM, or SCM Certification (any level)
  • Experience using Product Data Management tools and MRP systems such as SAP / PRISM
  • Knowledge and experience working with FAR, DFAR, Export/Import requirements.
  • Prior international deployments
  • Basic German language skills
  • Highly organized in your management style and communications.

Onsite - This role will be on-site at the supplier’s facility in Bern Switzerland.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
