As a key member of the Talent Sourcing Team, you will serve as a strategic partner to business leadership and Talent Acquisition, building specialized leadership and technical pipelines and identifying rare, passive talent to help solve complex challenges at Collins Aerospace.
You will lead proactive, high-impact sourcing efforts by driving strategic hiring initiatives, facilitating team discussions, monitoring critical hiring metrics, and collaborating across business units to share talent. Partnering closely with executive leaders, hiring managers, and TA Advisors, you will shape and maintain a strong, future-focused talent pipeline.
Managing a diverse portfolio of engineering, technology, and leadership searches, you will leverage CRM data and market insights to influence stakeholders and refine search strategies. Your work helps transform the recruiting function into a proactive, strategic advantage that surfaces the right talent to meet Collins’ needs across the United States.
What You Will Do:
- Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines for strategic and leadership roles by leveraging market research, direct outreach, and sustained candidate relationship management.
- Collaborate with Talent Advisors and Hiring Managers to sharpen role requirements, define ideal candidate profiles, and align search strategies.
- Lead initial candidate outreach with a consultative approach — establishing credibility, gauging interest, and clearly articulating the organization's mission and opportunities.
- Provide strategic guidance on talent market dynamics, competitive positioning, compensation benchmarks, and organizational design.
- Maintain high data integrity within our CRM/ATS (Yello/Workday;) build and nurture long-term "silver medalist" pipelines, ensuring Collins Aerospace has a strong bench of talent for future organizational needs.
- Manage sensitive, confidential searches with sound judgment, discretion, and disciplined execution.
- Works as a search expert who can craft advanced Boolean strings, perform site X-rays, and compose captivating outreach messages for passive talent.
- Drive sourcing activities/campaigns across the team/organization based on understanding the business and how they operate.
- Routinely represent Collins Sourcing as a recognized SME in cross-functional settings with senior leaders and executives from across the organization.
What You Will Learn:
- In this role, you will develop specialized knowledge in:
- The competitive landscape of the aerospace industry.
- Understanding the specific nuances of engineering, digital technology, and supply chain roles within a highly regulated, high-stakes environment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Experience recruiting for a variety of discipline areas which may include: Program Management, Engineering, Digital Technologies, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Production & Maintenance, and Administrative and/or Leadership roles
- Prior experience working with executive-level stakeholders
- Knowledge of talent sourcing tools and technology, including AI-driven search tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, and specialized technical forums (GitHub, Stack Overflow) to find passive talent
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience communicating and presenting reports on search activity and market insights
- Experience in executive-level recruiting
- Experience guiding hiring managers on "must-have" vs. "nice-to-have" skills to broaden the viable talent pool.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
