Description
Performs all job duties of the mammography department to include: obtaining patient history and performing mammograms at a technical level, checking in outside films, inputting MEEs, mailing result letters to patients, calling patients that need additional views, following up on biopsy results, quality control tests on equipment, scheduling appointments, and troubleshooting equipment errors.

X Completion of accredited program in radiology technology X Required

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

X MQSA qualified. ARRT registered in radiology mammography X Required
X Certified by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible to take certification examination
X Advanced certification in mammography desired
