Description
Serves as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating basic patient care activities, unit secretary functions, performing 12 lead EKG’s, and functioning as a Monitor Tech. This position can also perform basic nursing tasks as described below. Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
High School Graduate or Equivalent. X Required

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Must have one (1) of the following certifications:
Certified medical assistant, One (1) year experience as a multi care tech 2, Three (3) years experience as a C.N.A. in a hospital setting, or EMT certification
