Under the supervision of a radiologist, performs ultrasound examinations on patients, including procedures such as biopsies or aspirations. Reports preliminary findings and diagnoses to the radiologist. Takes anatomical images to demonstrate organs.

Minimum Education
X Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program X Required

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
X American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
X Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
