Responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Provides material supply services for a variety of departments as requested.

Qualifications
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Education
-High school diploma or equivalent X Required
Certifications:
Transporter I
-Basic Life Support (BLS)
Transporter II
-Certified Medical Assistant Licensure Preferred
-Current Georgia licensure as a Certified Nurse Aide Preferred
-EMT -B Certificate of completion of course work Preferred
-Pharmacy Tech Cert Preferred
-Completion of Nursing Fundamentals in Lieu of CNA Licensure Preferred
-EKG or ECG course completion certificate

-BLS - Basic Life Support Certification - REQUIRED
Minimum Work Experience
Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
