Conduct complex analysis of laboratory specimens according to established protocols and procedures, conduct quality assurance checks, and maintain instruments. May lead the work of Medical Laboratory Technicians, Phlebotomists, and others as necessary.

Minimum Education
X Bachelor's degree □ Preferred X Required

Required Skills

Certifications:

Valid certification through the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is required to be obtained within 90 days of hire
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
