Job Summary

• The Social Worker is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and displaying good skills in assessment, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning. Additionally, he/she is expected to function well as a multidisciplinary team member and participate in the unit community relations program.

Minimum Education

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an institution of higher education accredited by the Council on Social Work Education Required

Licenses/Certifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Preferred
• BLS

Required Skills

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
