Paramedic, PRN Days

St. Francis is NOW HIRING!! Join our Emergency Department as a PRN Paramedic!!

This position is PRN working 7am to 7pm based on your availability and department needs.

As a Paramedic in the ED you will:

Responds to calls for emergency medical services and provides patient care as directed and/or determined necessary. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Paramedic performs a variety of duties to assist the nursing staff and physician in rendering patient care. Also responsible for assisting with nursing station duties including administrative and customer-service related tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent or GED Required
• Georgia State or National Registry Paramedic Certification Required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Preferred (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life
• Minimum of 2 years Paramedic experience preferred
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
