Paramedic- Nights PRN

St. Francis is NOW HIRING!! Come join our ED as one of our PRN Night Paramedics!

This is a PRN position to cover 7pm to 7am based on your availability and ED needs.

As a ED Paramedic you will:

Responds to calls for emergency medical services and provides patient care as directed and/or determined necessary. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Paramedic performs a variety of duties to assist the nursing staff and physician in rendering patient care. Also responsible for assisting with nursing station duties including administrative and customer-service related tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent or GED Required
• Georgia State or National Registry Paramedic Certification Required
• Minimum of 2 years Paramedic experience preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Preferred (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
