| Job Summary | The Assistant Professor position for the Library is responsible for providing general reference and bibliographic instruction services and participating in collection development for print and electronic resources generally and especially in the Social Sciences; assisting in the electronic reserves system and participating in the regular rotation of evening and weekend work; and research/creative activity, public service, and involvement in professional organizations in order to meet tenure and promotion requirements. |

| Minimum Qualifications | 1. MLIS from an American Library Association accredited university with an undergraduate background in one of the social sciences. |
