| Job Summary | The Program Assistant position is responsible for administrative activities in support of the Small Business Development Center, such as preparation of documents, reports, databases, correspondence, records, and standard financial documents; acting as the first point of in-person or telephone contact for entrepreneurs seeking support from the SBDC and connecting these potential clients with the Director and/or business advisors; scheduling appointments, planning events, and updating websites and social media; and other duties as assigned. |
| Minimum Qualifications | 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Minimum of one year of clerical work experience, or one year of college coursework. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, business advisers, and the community. 5. Excellent skills in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar software programs. 6. Strong attention to detail. |
