Job Summary
The Department of Chemistry and Physics within the College of Science and Engineering invites applications for a Lecturer position in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Teach and develop courses in several of the following areas: DC/AC Circuit Analysis, Electronic (Semiconductor) Devices, Digital Logic, Programmable Logic Controllers, Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems, Robotics/Automation, Telecommunications Electronics, and other Electrical/Electronic Engineering subjects.
  • Participate in student recruitment, academic advising, and institutional and/or community service activities.
  • Serve on department, college, and university committees as assigned.
  • Supervise senior design or research projects as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and accreditation activities of the EEE program and the department.
  • Attend university and college meetings, convocations, commencements, and other official functions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair and Dean of the College of Science and Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. A master’s or doctoral degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
  2. Demonstrated ability and commitment to effective teaching.
  3. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work collegially and productively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Prior teaching experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering courses (lectures and laboratories).
