| Job Summary | Troy University’s Department of Art & Design invites applications for a 10-month, non-tenure track, Lecturer position specializing in Illustration, Graphic Design, and Printmaking. We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator who is committed to high-quality teaching, contemporary creative practice, and fostering a collaborative learning environment. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate programs by teaching foundational and advanced courses across the studio art and design curriculum. This Lecturer position in the Department of Art and Design at Troy University plays a vital role in delivering foundational visual art coursework to both majors and non-majors. It provides instruction across traditional studio practices, digital media, mixed-media, and design, teaching core classes that build students’ visual literacy, technical proficiency, and creative problem-solving skills. This position candidate will enrich the curriculum with practical knowledge and contemporary perspectives and contribute significantly to departmental initiatives, student mentorship, and community engagement through exhibitions, collaborative projects, and participation in campus arts programming.
