| Job Summary | This position is open to graduate students interested in working with incarcerated women inside of Tutwiler Prison. This position will support the Troy-Tutwiler Garden program led by Dr. Stephen Carmody. This program teaches incarcerated women about gardening and nutrition through gardening classes held inside of Tutwiler Prison led by Troy faculty. This position will support this program. Duties can include: 1) Clerical work 2) Research and Writing 3) Teaching inmates 4) Caring for plants on the Troy Campus 5) Lesson Planning 6) Working directly with Tutwiler Inmates. |
| Minimum Qualifications | 1. Must be a current Troy University graduate student 2. Must be able to pass a Department of Corrections background check 3. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA 4. Must be willing to complete some work tasks inside of a correctional facility |
