Job Summary
The Stagehand position is responsible for assisting the Production Manager with the technical aspects of the theatre operations including but not limited to theatre maintenance, load-ins, load-outs, rehearsals, performances and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Good communication skills
3. Ability to work with a diverse clientele
4. Ability to be dependable
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience and/or training in technical theatre
Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
Work Hours
- Varies depending on Davis Theatre needs
- Ability to work extensive hours including evenings and weekends
List any hazardous conditions or physical demands required by this position
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional climbing to assist with theatre maintenance including but not limited to changing light bulbs
