Job Summary
The Public Radio Membership Officer is responsible for supporting Troy Public Radio’s fundraising efforts by working with members of the station’s sustaining member program; assisting in planning the station’s regular fund drives and mail campaigns; and directly responsible for overseeing the fund drive call center.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Related work experience
3. Experience working with clients and/or customers to provide friendly service and quickly resolve issues
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
5. Ability to work well on projects both with a team and individually
6. Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience working with or overseeing a membership program or client based service
2. Knowledge and familiarity with public radio and its mission
3. Experience working as a fundraiser or development officer
4. Experience working with a non-profit
5. Experience working with marketing platforms such as: Mailchimp, Buffer, or related applications
6. Experience working with Raiser’s Edge
Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
