Job Summary
The IDEA Bank is hosting its fourth annual Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, open to high school students and, for the first time, middle school students. Camp. Participants ages 15+ will have the option to reside on the TROY campus from July 22 thru July 25 as they participate in several activities at the TROY IDEA Bank, on TROY’s campus, and at various local businesses, to further their entrepreneurship education and personal business pitch development.

The Summer Camp Facilitator is required to reside on campus with the participating students throughout the duration of the camp (check in on July 22, check out on July 25) and is responsible for the following:
  • Act as a point of contact for all students throughout their stay, assisting them with navigating campus, attending sessions, understanding the camp schedule, etc.
  • Ensure that all students are present and accounted for at all sessions and in their residence hall each evening
  • Chaperone evening activities (which will be prearranged)
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of select camp sessions
  • Take photos of the camp’s progress and student participation to use for social media promotion
  • Other event-related tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications
1. Must be a current Troy University student
2. One year of related work experience
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

1. Undergraduate degree in a business field (in process or completed)
Interest in entrepreneurship
