| Job Summary | The Departmental Secretary II position is responsible for providing clerical support to the office, including preparation and coordination of documents, reports, databases, and correspondence; maintaining files; scheduling meetings and appointments; preparing standard financial documents; maintaining office supplies; greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff and visitors; and other duties as assigned. |
| Minimum Qualifications | 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training in clerical or secretarial office work 3. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures 4. Skill in the use of computers and a variety of software, including Microsoft Office 5. Skill in time management 6. Skill in communicating effectively in person and by telephone with all internal and external associates of the university 7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively 8. Ability to work well in a team environment |
