Job Summary
The FA Scholarship Coordinator position is the primary Financial Aid contact for institutional scholarships, Troy University Foundation, Athletic and other outside scholarship funding. This position is responsible for administration of all of these scholarship programs, including, but not limited to: verification of program eligibility, packaging awards, monitoring eligibility changes, resolving account discrepancies, and review of appeals. The FA Scholarship Coordinator is also responsible for updating eligibility data, certifying award payments, and making payment adjustments. In addition, the FA Scholarship Coordinator collaborates with the Admissions office for awarding of institutional scholarships, works with the athletic staff to ensure NCAA compliance, and serves as a backup administrator for the scholarship management software and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, OR a minimum of four years of related work experience
2. Datatel/Ellucian Experience
3. Experience with Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications
1. Knowledge of Troy University scholarship funding sources (Internal & External).
