Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field preferred. Prior experience in volunteer management. Prior case management and/or marketing experience a plus. Must be willing to work non-traditional hours. Ability to handle highly sensitive issues. Organizational relationships: Reports to CASA Coordinator; supervises volunteers for CASA program; interacts with entire Twin Cedars staff. Key responsibilities include: recruit and retain 20–30 volunteers and child cases; maintain volunteer database and training files; conduct volunteer training and ensure background screening; coordinate and supervise volunteer efforts and case assignments; monthly contact/supervision of volunteers; ensure each case is covered; monitor volunteer-client relationships; maintain accurate volunteer hours; coordinate referrals with DFCS/Juvenile Court; review and submit volunteer court reports; attend court/panel hearings; provide input for monthly CASA e-newsletter; maintain confidential files; assist with recognition, retention, special events, resource development, public awareness, and grant support.
