Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Delivery or related field preferred. Successful completion of CAC-endorsed forensic interviewing training a plus (required once employed). Proficiency in Word, Excel and web-based databases. Ability to interface with key community stakeholders. Able to handle highly sensitive issues confidentially. Organizational: reports to Assistant Program Coordinator; provides direct forensic interview service; maintains on-call after-hours system; interfaces with human service providers; interacts with TCYS staff. Key responsibilities: conduct forensic interviews for children and developmentally delayed adults; coordinate scheduling; stay current on interviewing techniques; participate in peer reviews; staff cases; prepare for expert testimony; interface with DFCS and law enforcement; coordinate victim outreach services (resource guides, rights explanation, intake, confidentiality, intake procedures, referrals, follow-up); medical accompaniment during sexual assault exams (schedule/notify parties, accompany child); records custodian (copies, evidence release, maintain files, client feedback); assist through case disposition (court contacts, court accompaniment); serve on MDT case review; attend meetings and report status.
