Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Delivery or related field preferred. Successful completion of CAC-endorsed forensic interviewing training a plus (required once employed). Proficiency in Word, Excel and web-based databases. Ability to interface with key community stakeholders and handle highly sensitive issues confidentially. Organizational Relationships and General Description: Reports to Assistant Program Coordinator (APC). Provides direct forensic interview services to child victims. Maintains on-call system for after hour appointments. Interfaces with human service providers and Twin Cedars staff. Key Responsibilities: Conducts forensic interviews of children and developmentally delayed adults; assists stakeholders with scheduling and coordination; participates in peer reviews; staffs cases; prepares for expert testimony; interfaces with DFCS and law enforcement. Coordinates victim outreach: develops resource guides, conducts caregiver intake assessments, maintains confidential documentation, serves as point of contact for information/referrals, assists with paperwork for judicial processes, conducts follow-up case status check-ins, distributes psycho-educational materials. Medical accompaniment: schedules exams, notifies relevant parties, accompanies child through exam process. Records custodian: manages documentation/recordings, evidence release forms, maintains files, administers client satisfaction surveys.
