Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Delivery or related field preferred.- Successful completion of CAC-endorsed forensic interviewing training a plus, but required once employed.- Proficiency in computer programs (Word, Excel and web-based databases, etc.) a must.- Ability to interface with key community stakeholders a must.- Ability to handle highly sensitive issues and confidentiality a must.Organizational Relationships and General Description- Reports to Assistant Program Coordinator (APC).- Provides direct forensic interview service to child victims.- Maintains on-call emergency contact information/system for after-hours appointments.- Interfaces with Human Service providers within judicial circuit.- Interacts with Twin Cedars Youth Services staff.Description of Key ResponsibilitiesConducts Forensic Interviews- Conducts forensic interviews on children of all ages and developmentally delayed adults.- Assists stakeholders in scheduling and coordination of forensic interviews; stays current on interviewing techniques; participates in peer reviews; staffs cases; prepares for expert testimony with DA’s office; interfaces with DFCS and law enforcement.Coordinates victim outreach services for child victims served by CTH- Develops/maintains local resource guide and informational packets; greets consumers and explains victim rights; conducts intake with non-offending caregiver; maintains/secure documentation; coordinates intake procedures; serves as point of contact for stakeholders/families; assists with paperwork; conducts follow-up status check-ins; distributes psycho-educational materials; conducts needs assessment at intake.Medical accompaniment- Schedules sexual assault exams; notifies relevant parties; accompanies child throughout intake and exam process.Records custodian duties (CAC)- Copies documentation/recordings for evidentiary purposes; executes Evidence Release Forms per chain of custody; maintains victim files; administers client satisfaction surveys.Additional- Assists clients through final case disposition; coordinates with Victim Witness office; provides court accompaniment; represents Forensic Interviewer on MDT Case Review; attends monthly meetings; reports case status/progress to team.Send resume to ksieck@twincedars.org
