Qualifications: M.S.W./M.A./M.S./M.H.S./M.Ed/M.F.T. in Human Services; NBCC or LPC preferred. Must obtain license within three years of hire. One or more years’ clinical experience with children/adolescents/families. Strong solution-focused and crisis intervention skills. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Organizational Relationships: Works under direct supervision of the Program Coordinator; maintains ongoing training/CEUs; attends agency in-service; helps train volunteers/interns. Key Responsibilities: Provides solution-focused psycho-educational support services for assigned children/adolescents, conducts intake assessments, applies trauma knowledge and TF-CBT strategies, provides crisis counseling and caregiver education, maintains client-centered scheduling. Facilitates community-based activities, stakeholder education and outreach; participates in community awareness events; provides education on trauma and interventions; fosters teamwork. Maintains confidential documentation and case tracking; participates in meetings; provides updates to DFCS/Law Enforcement; pursues ongoing professional development; manages HIPAA/consents; provides referrals.
