Qualifications: M.S.W./M.A./M.S./M.H.S./M.Ed/M.F.T. in Human Services; NBCC or LPC preferred; must obtain license within 3 years of hire. One year+ experience with children/adolescents/families in a clinical setting. Solution-focused and crisis intervention skills required; ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Organizational: works under Program Coordinator; maintain ongoing training/CEU; attend agency in-services; help train volunteers/interns. Key responsibilities: provide solution-focused psycho-educational support services; conduct intakes; apply trauma knowledge and TF-CBT strategies; crisis counseling/debriefing; caregiver education; maintain schedule; facilitate community activities/stakeholder education and victim outreach; maintain confidential documentation and case tracking; participate in staff/MDT meetings; provide updates to DFCS/Law Enforcement; maintain HIPAA/consents; follow up with caregivers; facilitate trauma-informed groups and family supports; ensure treatment plans are followed; additional duties as assigned.
