Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two years’ experience in a social services field; prior case management/child welfare preferred; willing to work non-traditional hours; knowledge of community resources and appropriate referrals; ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and provide trauma-informed approaches; knowledge of psychological/emotional impact on survivors. Organizational: Reports to Program Coordinator and Lead Clinical Therapist/Outreach Specialist; participates in on-call rotations; manages day-to-day activities of Victim Advocacy and Outreach Programs; interfaces with TCYS staff and judicial circuit providers. Key Responsibilities: Coordinates victim outreach services for suspected sexual assault, dating violence, stalking and teen dating violence; greets consumers, explains victims’ rights, maintains confidential documentation; coordinates victim intake procedures and judicial paperwork; makes referrals to Victim Assistance Program and collaborates with child welfare stakeholders; enters and tracks case data through final disposition; coordinates mental health counseling referrals; schedules sexual assault exams and accompanies victims. Provides follow-up case management; liaises with community agencies; organizes support groups; delivers psychoeducation to caregivers; maintains accurate files with follow-ups, referrals and outcomes. Program development: client satisfaction surveys; maintains Community Resource Guide; seeks new referral sources; attends required victim advocacy trainings. MDT participation: represents victim advocacy in case reviews; collaborates with Victims Witness Program; maintains partner relationships. Community education and outreach: co-facilitates Protect Your Crown program; conducts presentations (Erin’s Law, teen dating violence, stalking, healthy relationships, domestic violence); maintains partnerships with schools and youth-serving agencies.
