For more than 62 years, West Georgia Eye Care Center has been serving the Columbus community with exceptional eye care and LASIK. Dr. Floyd C. Jarrell, Jr. established the practice in 1951 as a solo practice. The clinic has since grown to the area's only multi-specialty eye care practice, to include nine ophthalmologists, one optometrist, and a staff of over 85 people. Among the sub-specialties represented in the practice are two fellowship-trained cornea and refractive surgeons, a fellowship-trained retina specialist, a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist, and a fellowship-trained oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeon.
