We are seeking HR Generalist to serve as a key member of the facility’s leadership team. This position will support local and global HR programs and coordinate, track and measure related results. The incumbent serves as a business partner to multiple levels of the organizational hierarchy and ensures that objectives are achieved within a fast-paced environment in which the handling of multiple tasks simultaneously is the expected norm.

Essential Functions

Serves as subject-matter expert for all HR functionals areas with particular emphasis on employee relations, compensation, employee engagement, and performance management
Identifies and implements improvements to core HR functions using a continuous-improvement mindset
Establishes, maintains, and controls personnel records, files, and organizational charts.
Serves as project manager for local and global HR programs as appropriate. Tracks milestones, regularly reports status, and ensures objectives are achieved and delivered on time. Drives performance-appraisal, merit-increase, and other core HR processes across the site population
Maintains site HR calendar and leads related communications for specific HR programs such as annual enrollment
Conducts new hire orientation and prepares related paperwork and onboarding materials for both regular and temporary employees
Serves as the first point-of-contact and acts as liaison to new and existing employees in explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards
Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience human resources functions
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

Proven track record of success in managing complex projects
Familiarity with HR principles and best practices and can be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly while displaying a keen eye for detail. High degree of comfort with workplace change and ambiguity
Strong oral, written and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated ability to build positive professional relationships and provide a high level of customer service
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Proven ability to be resourceful and drive projects and programs autonomously, with limited oversight
