E&I Technician
Smurfit Westrock Sawmill in Cottonton Al is looking to fill an open position for an E&I Technician, we are looking for someone who can meet the following requirements:
- 3-5 years industrial E&I experience or
- 2-4 years industrial E&I certificate/diploma from accredited school
- Ability to work safely / understands Lock out / Tag out
- Ability to interpret electrical and instrumentation schematics and drawings
- Ability to use electrical test equipment, multi meter, megger, amp probe
- Good understanding of PLCs and ladder logic
- Trouble shoot electrical issues independently
- Familiar with 480v 3 phase motor starters
- Ability to trouble shoot 240v, 120v, and 24v circuits
- Good understanding of hydraulic systems and the ability to troubleshoot
- Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives
- Available to work overtime and 3rd shift
- Pass written testing requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
