IT Development Support Analyst – Smurfit Westrock Merchandising Displays
The opportunity: Under the general direction of Manager, iSeries Software Development or the Project Leader, this role is responsible for system enhancements, testing, and 2nd level system troubleshooting.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
- Create system enhancements that will support the business and streamline business process.
- Integration upgrades with additional systems.
- Provide 2nd level troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Assist with quality assurance testing of modified applications
- End-user training of system changes.
What you need to succeed:
- Associates degree and 5 years’ experience or 10 –15 years equivalent work experience
- Experience with RPG, RPGLE, DB2 SQL and CL.
- Experience with iSeries operating system.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite.
- Familiarity with Zebra ZPL label language.
- Experience supporting Sarbanes-Oxley control compliance
- WMS application support experience preferred
- Ability to understand key business functions of a production and warehouse facility
