Depending on location and proximity to a pulse point (Elevance Health Major Office), will determine hybrid schedule with the highest in-office commitment being 1-2 days in an office per week.

The Business Information Developer Consultant is responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
- Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
- May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.
- Develops strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse.
- Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
- Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
- The majority of time will be spent programming.
- Conducts training on use of applications developed. Pulling all kinds of health care data from EDWard, ODW, and ODSPRIV using complex SQL
- Support internal auditors with all of their data, system, and technology needs
- Brainstorming with auditors to offer ways that data analysis can be used to support audits
- Building relationships within the dept and across the enterprise
- Document work completed by the data analysis team
- Learning new technologies where appropriate
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and background of Elevance Health’s complex systems, applications, and platforms (e.g., Enterprise Data Warehouse [EDWard], Claims Systems strongly preferred.
- Experience liaising between systems analysts and operational business partners.
